US Holocaust Museum murderer dies

James von Brunn, the 89 year old murder suspect from the US Holocaust Museum shooting on June 10 has died in a prison hospital.

Holocaust survivors are at greater risk for cancer

A study at the University of Haifa in Israel compared more than 300,000 European Jews who emigrated before or during the war against those who left Europe after the war has concluded that Holocaust survivors, because of the extreme caloric deprivation, are at greater risk for cancer. According to the study, a majority of the survivors lived on 200-800 calories. In addition, the study also compared those with post traumatic stress disorder with lung cancer rates due to smoking.
