The Holocaust Awareness Museum remembers Melvin Newman

The Holocaust Awareness Museum is sad to announce the passing away of Melvin Newman, a long time friend, volunteer and colleague.
Melvin was a World War II veteran who, along with hundreds of other young Jewish GIs, liberated concentration camps. Along with the Jewish War Veterans Post 697, he created a Holocaust project to educate young people.

St. Joseph's University in Philadelphia is hosting the 40th Annual Scholars' Conference on the Holocaust and the Churches this year from March 6-8.

December 20 Anne Frank Theater Project Rescheduled to March 21

The Anne Frank Theater Project scheduled for December 20 has been rescheduled for March 21 at 10am at the Polonsky Theater at the JCC Klein Branch. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at our museum, over the phone at (215) 464-4701, or at the door the day of the show.
