Anne Frank diary guardian, Miep Gies, passes away
Miep Gies, the woman who helped hide Anne Frank and her family during the Nazi occupation of the Netherlands and who, later, safe guarded Anne's diary, has passed away at age 100.
"We did our duty as human beings: helping people in need."
